Belonging and Connection: How can we improve the “B” in DEIB?
Hosted by CASE Districts I, II, and VII

“Connecting” and “communicating” are often used synonymously, but they are not the same thing. We all know how to communicate, but fewer of us have been taught how to connect. And yet without connection, we suffer from a lack of trust on our teams, tension within management, toxic work cultures, and we limit our ability to create a culture of belonging. The good news is you can improve your team’s ability to forge connections with each other – and with donors, too. Being a great connector isn’t only an innate personality trait; it’s also a skillset that anyone can learn.
