Our work to advance education has never been more critical. Through our collective efforts we promote the strengths of our institutions, grow private financial support, engage alumni, and build understanding about the vital role that colleges, universities, and schools play within our society and across the world.

As your professional organisation, CASE seeks to equip you with the knowledge, tools, and resources you need to champion the success of your institution. If we hope to achieve our goals we must build our capacity to dramatically enhance and expand our member services. Your annual gift to CASE will help us do just that.

Advancement is a noble profession. Together we have the means to make a difference in all that we do in a rapidly changing environment for education worldwide. Your ongoing support will help us serve our members more effectively and, ultimately, help us achieve our vision of advancing education to transform lives and societies.

With warm thanks for your generous support,

    Sue Cunningham

Advancing Education to Transform Lives and Society

CASE members and staff work every day to transform lives and society. With more than 90,000 individual members at more than 3,600 member institutions in 82 countries, someone from CASE is advancing education every minute of every day. Helping a school, college, or university expand its resource base; engage more effectively with students, parents, alumni, and donors; and communicating the critical importance of education in terms of personal, societal, economic, scientific, and cultural progress—in these activities and others CASE members support their institutions and enable them to fulfill their mission.

CASE espouses a philosophy of integrated advancement in which practitioners in all our disciplines—fundraising, alumni/constituent relations, marketing communications, and advancement services—develop synergistic solutions to institutional challenges.

    Developing and distributing knowledge

CASE strives to be the leading educational and professional development provider in the educational advancement sector. We do this through a combination of content development and distribution and educational programs—through in-person conferences as well as webinars and hybrid learning opportunities.

    Making the case for education

In many ways, CASE sets the standard for leadership in the education sector. Our advocacy work has focused on philanthropic issues throughout tax reform process, such as support for the universal charitable deduction in the United States, as well as a continuing commitment to making sure our members understand the impact of legislative changes around the globe. Partnering with other education support associations, we have begun a program to begin to address the negativity about higher education that is evident in recent Pew and Gallup surveys, starting with a livestream in March 2018 that was subscribed in more than 1,000 sites with an estimated total viewership of more than 10,000 individuals. This program will continue in 2020.

We are grateful for this opportunity to introduce you to CASE—our mission, vision, programs, and impact—and we look forward to continuing the conversation. We strongly believe that CASE has the potential to have even more impact worldwide with the assistance and encouragement of our partners, and invite you to join us on that journey.

    The President’s Discretionary Fund

The process of Reimagining CASE, through our strategic plan, has made significant progress and we have made key accomplishments within member engagement, talent management, thought leadership, and global impact. We are committed to consistently delivering a quality experience for our members worldwide. We strongly believe that CASE has the potential to have even more impact for our members with your support.  This Fund allows our president and CEO to make strategic decisions and invest in new opportunities and areas of research that will deliver that promise to our members.

    The Opportunity and Inclusion Center

The vision of the OIC is education attainment for all. It is designed to serve as a resource for all institutions and particularly minority serving institutions, providing professional development, training, and applied research. One key goal is increasing the diversity and  number of new advancement professionals and providing leadership training for existing advancement professionals and educational leaders. This emerging Center will offer advancement program assessments, alumni engagement best practices, executive coaching, professional development for practitioners and volunteers, and other services.
