    Jenny Li Fowler

    Jenny Li Fowler

    Director of Social Media Strategy, Massachusetts Institute of Technology

    Jenny Li Fowler is the director of social media strategy at MIT. Jenny is in charge of developing and executing Institute-wide social media initiatives and campaigns; provides social media consultation and direction for more than 200 departments, labs, and centers; and manages the Institute’s main Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts. Jenny also leads the Social Media Working Group which has 160 members. Prior to coming to MIT, Jenny was the web editor and social media manager at Harvard Kennedy School.

    Chelsey Holts

    Chelsey Holts

    Director of Marketing and Communications, Division of Student Affairs, North Carolina Central University

    As the Director of Marketing and Communications at North Carolina Central University, Chelsey Holts advises 17 student-focused departments on marketing strategy and overall communications. She manages a student team responsible for capturing campus life at one of the top HBCUs in North Carolina.

    Previously, Chelsey served as the Marketing Director for the Art of Cool Festival for nearly five years, handling partnerships, marketing strategy, and national media coverage. She spearheaded digital marketing endeavors, partnerships, and influencer activation. In 2019, she began working with Dreamville Festival and Essence Festival in various capacities, including event curation, media advising, and team management. She has co-curated activations for A3C Festival and Hopscotch Music Festival. Her career has spanned higher education, music, entertainment, small business, and automotive.

    Kait Lanthier

    Kait Lanthier

    Director, Content Strategy, Babson College

    Kait Lanthier is the director of content strategy at Babson College in Wellesley, MA, where she leads the institution’s digital content strategy. At Babson, she oversees an agile team of storytellers who work across all media to advance the College’s brand, reputation, and mission. Kait has written and leads the implementation of the institution’s editorial and social media content strategies, and specializes in connecting owned, earned, and paid content opportunities for true integration.

    A former aspiring magazine journalist, her writing has appeared in print and online in a variety of outlets including USA Today, CosmoGirl, and First for Women magazine. Kait earned her undergraduate degree in journalism and graduate degree in integrated marketing, both from Marist College. Prior to leading content strategy at Babson, she worked in student affairs and first year programs at her alma mater.     Jon McBride

    Jon McBride

    Media Relations and Social Media Manager, Brigham Young University

    Jon is a media relations and social media manager at BYU where he combines those skillsets to spread the digital reach of the university with influencer relations. His most unique professional accomplishment was landing a pitch to Beyoncé’s publicist and getting a post out to her 63 million Facebook followers, but his most meaningful work as of late has been in using Instagram stories to address hard-hitting and impactful university topics such as sexual assault, consent, mental health, racism, hate speech, respect and more. Jon is also the recipient of the CASE District VII's 2018 Rising Star award.
