Strategic Data Management – A Cornerstone of Advancement Success

With increased focus in recent years across the global advancement sector on benchmarking, data visualisation and data-driven decision-making, high-quality data has never been more important. Even so, the fundamentals of effective data management are often not in place.

In this session, we explore the goals and principles of data management and do a deep dive into two key functions which are the cornerstones of advancement success—data governance and data quality. We then wrap up by looking at case studies that show the impact of strategic data management at two institutions.
