Jen McGrath

Jen McGrath

Crystal Apple Winner
Deputy Executive Director of Donor Engagement and Communications for Resource Development , MIT

Jen McGrath is the Deputy Executive Director of Donor Engagement and Communications for Resource Development at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT.) Her team creates and implements strategies to support donor engagement, fundraising, and stewardship while showcasing and building the MIT story of philanthropy.

Jen has been working in development for more than 25 years with experience in nonprofit, small liberal arts college, and large university settings. In addition to her work in donor relations and communications, she has served in reunion campaign, annual giving, and corporate and foundation relations-related roles.

As a past conference presenter for CASE as well as the Association of Donor Relations Professionals (ADRP) Jen has addressed topics of particular interest to both new and seasoned professionals. She was a member of the ADRP Board of Directors from 2015-2020, serving as President of the Association 2018-2019.

Eliza McNulty

Eliza McNulty

Senior Director of Donor Relations, Stanford University

Eliza McNulty is Senior Director of Donor Relations at Stanford University. She leads the university’s 18-person central donor relations team and works with senior development staff and colleagues across campus to shape the vision for comprehensive donor relations at Stanford. Prior to Stanford, Eliza held donor relations, communications, and development positions at YMCA of the USA, Loyola University Health System, and the Elks National Foundation. 

Eliza is Past President of the Association of Donor Relations Professionals (ADRP). While serving ADRP, she advocated for and promoted the donor relations profession, representing the association’s nearly 1,800 international members. Eliza shares her passion for gratitude by speaking, writing, and presenting on effective practices in donor relations and stewardship. She has 25 years fundraising experience in healthcare, university, and national membership offices.

Krystal Alonis

Krystal Alonis

Stewardship Officer, University of Arizona

Krystal Alonis has been a development professional for over 15 years. She joined the Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement team at the University of Arizona in 2017 and is currently a Stewardship Officer for Principal Giving. Krystal works closely with the Principal Giving team and development officers across campus to ensure the most generous supporters of the university see the impact of their giving. Prior to coming to the University of Arizona, Krystal worked for several non-profit organizations in Tucson, AZ including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tucson, Casa de los Ninos and the Arizona Theatre Company.

Mark Lanum

Mark Lanum

Senior Director of Donor Relations, Brown University

Mark Lanum is the Senior Director of Donor Relations at Brown University. He has worked in Advancement and Donor Relations for over 23 years, including 19 years at the University of Washington. As a self-professed people person by nature and computer nerd by choice, he particularly enjoys developing and enhancing stewardship systems aimed at supporting and improving donor relationships. Strong teams and healthy organizational cultures are a particular interest for Mark as well and he always enjoys a good laugh along the way.

Monika Moore

Monika Moore

Director of Alumni and Family Engagement, Pomona College

Monika Moore is the Director of Alumni and Family Engagement at Pomona College. Previously she served as the director of donor relations and stewardship at Scripps College in Claremont, CA. A graduate of Pomona College and Claremont Graduate University, she held key alumni relations positions at both of those institutions, as well as leading alumni and parent engagement efforts at the University of La Verne and Occidental College. Monika is an active advancement and engagement consultant, having conducted external program reviews for several institutions. She is the convener of the Southern California Independent College Alumni Professionals (SCICAP) since 2019 and is a CASE volunteer, co-chairing the Alumni Relations track for the 2022 and 2023 District VII Conferences and serving on the CASE Commission on Alumni Relations from 2017-2020. She served as a faculty member for the 2022 and 2023 Donor Relations Conference.
