Preconference Workshops, Sunday, January 12

7:30 AM-12:30 PM
Senior Leadership Forum
Separate registration fee (breakfast and lunch included)

Specifically designed for senior-level advancement professionals with 10 or more years' experience and/or veteran professionals with significant experience who are currently serving in a senior supervisory role.

Using Heat, Collision, and Elevation for Increased Impact
Performance is what matters most for an organization, and performance depends on doing the hard work of developing leaders. It’s a process, not an event, and organizations that spend too much time delivering content and not enough on leadership development will suffer in the performance arena. We’ll discuss how leaders can become more influential, and better at communicating vison and managing change. We’ll learn how this “vertical” perspective makes leadership development and content inseparable, accelerating an organization’s influence.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn 7 stages of vertical development
  • Explore shifts in leadership development mindsets, models, and paradigms
  • Apply vertical development to cultivating resilience and ending rumination

Ren Washington, Leadership Solutions Partner, Center for Creative Leadership
