Get Involved with District VI
CASE District VI offers many opportunities for networking, career growth, and education—from attending workshops to competing in awards programs to participating in the district conference.
Those who gain the most from CASE, however, are the volunteers. From planning a workshop to presenting at the conference to being a judge for an awards competition, volunteering can give you prime opportunities to develop your advancement career, expand your professional network, and grow personally.
Volunteer Opportunities
District Conference
Volunteers from across CASE District VI organize and run an annual conference usually in Denver, Kansas City, or St. Louis. Our volunteers help plan session topics, recruit speakers, arrange logistical details, create conference marketing materials, help with registration, host individual sessions, conduct roundtable discussions, and serve as speakers. If you would like to volunteer to help with the conference, please contact a member of the planning committee.
Awards Program
Each year the district sponsors an awards program to recognize quality advancement work and to highlight the best practices of the profession. The success of the awards program depends on volunteer judges and judging coordinators. If you would like to be a judge or help coordinate the judging process, please visit our awards section for more information.
Cabinet
The CASE District VI Cabinet tends to the business of the district. Calls for nominations are made annually. If you would like to nominate someone to serve on the cabinet, please fill out the Nomination Form.
Other
The work of the district includes many other efforts as well. If you would like to volunteer in a way not listed above—or if you want to volunteer but don't have a preference for a particular role, contact [email protected].
