From the Nominator
"This large-reaching, yearlong campaign was meant to cover two important aspects. First, to celebrate the institution's 80th anniversary. Second, to help recruit students and let them know we had saved a seat for them in the classroom despite the pandemic's disruptions.
The entire Utah Valley University (UVU) marketing team helped create set pieces and props and painted them in the rainbow of UVU green for use in the campaign. We shot video and still photos at the same time, so lighting was done so we could do both without having to pause between the video to stills to re-set lights. The images were photographed by August Miller, director of photography.
The campaign was rolled out on multiple platforms, including freeway billboards, bus wraps, digital signage, the sides of buildings, fences in parking garages on campus, and along the I-15 freeway corridor on adjacent buildings. A large social media component with stills and video was also executed.
To keep within budget, almost the entire marketing department participated in the production of this campaign. The results were a highly impactful campaign that got a lot of attention in the local media, the business community, and more importantly, with incoming and current students at UVU."
