From the Nominator
Cedarville University launched its first-ever comprehensive fundraising campaign on October 1, 2021. Coinciding with Homecoming Weekend, our team collaborated with partners across campus to make a significant impact. The campaign was launched with a presidential announcement during a 10 a.m. campus gathering of all students, staff, and guests. During that gathering, a team hung signage around campus and we enacted a multi-channel communication campaign with a micro-site, an email to all constituents, social media ads, and a nationwide press release.
From the Judges
This multi-layered capital campaign is a true testament to the importance of generating alignment across all media–ranging from email signatures to social media campaigns. Thanks to the multiple strategic touch points involved in this fundraising initiative, the entirety of Cedarville University has embraced and interacted in some way with the 1000 Days Transformed campaign. The school is well on its way to achieving its massive $125M goal.
