From the Nominator
The three stories in this entry represent an evolution of brand journalism at the University of Alberta. Through the university’s news website, we use a traditional journalistic approach and journalistic techniques to tell U of A stories in a more compelling way to a broader audience. Each of these stories was among the most widely read stories of 2018. Each also reflects a recent shift in mandate for U of A news to focus on appeal, relevance, and usefulness for external readers.

Well-written and engaging. Judges agreed the John Lennon story was the highlight!
