CASE District I wishes to thank Opus for their generous support as a Platinum conference sponsor and for their work in designing the annual conference’s visual identity, printed program, awards program, schedule-at-a-glance, and breakfast roundtable inserts. This is Opus’ seventh year sponsoring CASE DI and we couldn’t be more grateful for their expertise and collaborative support.

    Hello Everyone!

Opus has sponsored the CASE District I Conference since 2013 and each year we look forward to seeing you and learning with you at this wonderful event. Since the current public health situation prevented us from being together this year, we appreciate the opportunity to use this guest blog post to say hello, share some news, and the fun giveaways we planned for the conference.

    “What’s New at Opus?”

We love to hear this question at our booth! This year we celebrated our 10th year and have much to celebrate.

    • We became a B Corps. Certified B Corporations are a new kind of business that balances purpose and profit. We are legally required to consider the impact of our decisions on our team, clients, suppliers, community, and the environment.
    • Accessibility. Ensuring “access to all” continues to be a priority for us in our website work. We believe that by focusing on accessible design we create an optimal user experience for everyone.  This year we even created an accessible print pdf as part of a project for Harvard Business School Doctoral which is used with a screen reader for visually impaired individuals.
    • Refreshing the site. We applied accessibility best practices to the Opus site and did a redesign at the same time. Our team developed an exciting palette, illustration style and new UX for the site so we hope you’ll come and visit!
    • Refreshing the brand. Like most companies you start with an idea for a business and only after some time does the true mission evolve and reveal itself. We enlisted the help of our Brand Strategy Director to guide us through our own brand which helped refine our focus as well as the messaging on the new site.

Prizes & We want to hear from you!

That’s enough about us, we’d love to hear how you’re doing and what’s new at your school. The first 30 people who write will receive a super cool infographic poster/brochure that we designed along with some fun stickers! From the people who respond, we will randomly select an individual to receive the $100 Amazon Gift Certificate that we planned for our CASE DI Conference Exhibit Hall Passport giveaway.

From all of us at Opus, we hope you stay healthy and look forward to hearing from you.

    All the best,
