Katie Sampson has served her alma mater, Temple University, as the Associate Director, Student and Young Alumni Engagement since February 2018. In her role, she is responsible for executing a comprehensive engagement and communication strategy that integrates experiential and philanthropic opportunities for Temple young alumni, to cultivate dynamic, reciprocal, lifelong relationships with Temple University. Before joining Temple, Katie served in a variety of roles at Rider University in Lawrenceville, N.J., including the Associate Director of Alumni Relations, Assistant Director of Annual Giving, and Administrative Specialist for the Office of External Affairs. She was the recipient of the 2021 CASE District II Platinum Award Honorable Mentions for Best Practices in Alumni Relations; 2019 Jerry F. Tardy Fellowship with the Council for Alumni Association Executives, and the 2018 Mazzotti Women’s Leadership Award, 2017 University Advancement - Above and Beyond Award, 2016 University Advancement - Rising Star Award, and 2014 Outstanding Achievement Award from Rider University.

Sampson earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Delaware; Master of Music in Opera Performance from Temple University; and Master of Business Administration in Marketing Management from Wilmington University.
