Julie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology and Sociology) and Honours in Psychology from the University of Melbourne in 2019.

She has a variety of work experiences within the youth, education and non-for-profit space ranging from working as an assistant residential housemistress in the United Kingdom, mentoring youth in Melbourne’s metropolitan region, to advocating for People of Colour issues within university spaces and beyond.

Her aspiration is to engage in work which will create sustainable positive impact and a better quality of life for all. She has a special interest in working with migrant and refugee communities.

In her free time, Julie enjoys watching live music, meeting new people and planning her next trip overseas.
