Bio

Dr. Ed Cabellon served as the vice president for student services and enrollment management at Bristol Community College in Massachusetts. His supervision portfolio included Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, Advising, Student and Family Engagement, Counseling and Health Services, Athletics and Recreation, Disability Services, Student Conduct, Multicultural Affairs, Veteran’s Center, Women’s Center, and TRiO Programs (Student Support Services, Upward Bound, and Educational Talent Search) across four campus locations in Attleboro, Fall River, New Bedford, and Taunton, Massachusetts.

A first-generation Filipino-American, he earned a bachelors in Communication from Stonehill College, a masters degree in Educational Leadership from Central Connecticut State University, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Johnson and Wales University. Since 1997, Dr. Cabellon has served in administration and faculty roles at five different higher education institutions in New England, mainly in the Massachusetts state system.

Dr. Cabellon also serves as adjunct professor for Caldwell University’s online masters program in Higher Education Administration and as assistant professor for Bridgewater State University’s masters program in Student Affairs Counseling. He teaches “Technology and Digital Identity” and “Student Affairs Administration” at Caldwell and Bridgewater State respectively.

Additionally, Dr. Cabellon is an experienced speaker and consultant in organizational change, marketing, enrollment management, and digital technology. He has also co-edited and authored articles and publications focused on engaging the digital generation of college students, faculty, and administrators. His efforts earned him national recognitions, including being named to the Chronicle of Higher Education’s “Technology Innovators” list and an ACPA Diamond Honoree.
