Campfire - From Messages to Meaning: A Five-Layer Reputation Playbook
Join Santiago Fernández-Gubieda, Chief Reputation Officer at the University of Navarra, in conversation with Mark Sudbury to launch CASE’s new edition of A Memorable Experience. Reputation isn’t a media artefact; it’s an organisational outcome where governance, listening, behaviour, communication and resilience meet. We’ll share a five-layer, Monday-ready architecture: put communication at the governance table; build a listening stack that turns noise into options; stage memorable proof points; communicate fewer, clearer, truer messages; and rehearse for crises. Come for dashboards and decision briefs - and leave keen to read the book and apply the model on your campus.

Roundtable - Donor Engagement: The Changing Shape of Events
Donor engagement has shifted significantly since the pandemic, with many institutions reporting lower attendance at large-scale reception events and higher returns from philanthropy-focused, intimate, themed dinners or innovative online gatherings. This interactive roundtable will explore how prospect and donor event strategies are evolving to meet changing expectations, improve return on investment, and deepen relationships to secure philanthropic funding.
We will share brief examples of how we have shaped our own events programme utilising data insights from both domestic and international events in the last five years, before opening the floor for participants to exchange ideas on what’s working now, what’s not, and how success is being measured. Together, we’ll examine the drivers behind these changes, compare new and traditional event formats, and generate practical ideas that participants can adapt for their own programmes.

Workshop - Trials & Errors: The mistakes we make and how we learn from them
One thing we all have in common is how easy it is to make a mistake. So, rather than shy away from it (and in homage to the popular 'How to Fail' podcast series) the Trials & Errors webinar series celebrates failures and reflects on what you can learn from them.
Regular CASE volunteers and webinar hosts, Hannah Fox (Regent’s University London) and Hayley Bryce (Giving Days Gurus) ask advancement professionals to reflect on how they've navigated a mistake, a change of plan, or something that simply didn't work out as they expected, in their professional (and sometimes personal) lives.
Expect informal and candid discussion on decisions they regret or unavoidable errors - and plenty of reassurance that you're not alone!
Speakers: Hannah Fox, Director of Alumni Community, Careers and Network Development, Regent's University, Hayley Bryce, Owner / Founder, The Giving Day Gurus, Paul Tyack, Director of Advancement, Newcastle University, Cecilia Lalama, Development Consultant, Lizzie Burrows, Director of Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions, Imperial College London
