Aluminate Community Builder (ACB)
Experience Aluminate Community Builder (ACB) Live
Universities and colleges face pressure to keep students, alumni, and faculty meaningfully connected. Traditional approaches such as directories, LinkedIn groups & email lists often create silos, leaving engagement fragmented and difficult to track. The Aluminate Community Builder (ACB) offers a bespoke approach to this challenge.
For over 20 years, Aluminati has partnered with higher-ed institutions to strengthen relationships that extend beyond graduation. Our platform provides an intuitive, secure space where members can connect through searchable directories, affinity and regional groups, mentoring programs, and events. Create programmes where Alumni can support students with guidance and opportunities, while students stay engaged with their institution and future networks as they transition into alumni.
For administrators, ACB offers powerful tools to track and measure engagement. Real-time analytics, content management, and unlimited reporting reveal actionable insights, while seamless integrations with CRMs, fundraising systems, and ticketing platforms deliver a unified view of your community. Institutions gain the flexibility to tailor the platform to their culture, while also benefiting from fast deployment, guided onboarding, and ongoing support. The result? A long-term solution that moves beyond a static directory to create a living, evolving community. One that mobilises alumni networks, supports career development, and strengthens institutional pride.
Join us at our demo session to see Aluminate Community Builder in action. Whether you’re launching your first alumni program or looking to replace legacy tools, you’ll walk away with practical ideas for building an engaged, future-ready community at your institution.
Speakers: David Emerland, Client Engagement Manager, Aluminati, Rebecca Whitton, Head of Client Success, Aluminati

Show me the money! How to make a compelling case for investment in your Advancement team
At a time when budgets are squeezed and sector-wide cutbacks are impacting both staff capacity and morale, many Advancement teams are feeling the pressure to achieve more with less resource. Yet, even in the toughest of times, extra resources can be found, and Advancement is one of the few areas that can deliver a great ROI and deliver significant impact through engagement with relatively little funding. So, how do you make your case for continued – or even increased – funding to your institutional leadership (or to your boss if you’re seeking a larger slice of the Advancement budget for your team). A panel of hugely-experienced Advancement leaders from small to large Advancement offices will be sharing their insights into how they have made an effective case for investment in a range of areas (regular giving, legacies, alumni relations, operations— as well as major gifts) during these challenging financial times. Advice will include ways to avoid common pitfalls and make a strong case using a blend of not just cold, hard data but softer ways to exert influence and overcome deeper, and often harder, cultural issues that can present barriers to gaining the necessary buy-in. Leave with some new, pragmatic ideas for how you can secure the necessary resourcing for your team to continue its critical work in helping your institution maximise its impact on society.
Speakers: Siôn Lutley, Partner, More Partnership, Liz Reilly, Partner, More Partnership, Amanda Rushbrooke, Head of Development, Alumni Relations and Engagement, Kingston University, Lucie Kennedy, Director of Philanthropy, Royal Academy of Music, Jennie Moule, Senior Director of Advancement Services, University of Cambridge

Discover Progression: Undergraduate to Postgraduate
Jisc's discover progression dashboard uniquely connects a students undergraduate HESA record to their postgraduate record, allowing universities to see where they gain postgraduate students from and, more critically, which providers they lose qualifiers to. It describes their characteristics, and which subjects they move to and from across the sector and between providers. This gives recruiters and postgraduate marketing teams vital insights into where to target their marketing campaigns and see a greater ROI on their recruitment campaigns. The dashboard is also of interest to student number planners and for course evaluation and development.
Speakers: Scotty Dixon, Product Manager, Jisc Data Analytics, Alex Myers, Account Director, Jisc
