About the Conference

The School Advancement Institute (formerly the Summer Institute for Independent Schools) is the premier professional development program for those new to independent school advancement. Designed to teach the elements of both independent school culture and independent school advancement, this program provides participants with strong mentoring and content so they can be successful in their first or second year at a new school.

 

Who Attends?

  • Professionals new to independent school philanthropy, engagement, communications, or advancement services  
  • Professionals with prior advancement background and those entirely new to the profession are welcome and will be assigned to cohorts based on experience  
  • Those new to school advancement, including new Assistant/Associate Heads of School or new Directors
