All employees of member institutions in CASE District IV are eligible for these awards. Work done by freelancers or outside agencies is eligible but must be submitted by the institution. Any project produced or implemented since November 1, 2017 is eligible for the competition.
Entries are judged by a panel of experts who are not current advancement professionals in District IV.
Entries may be selected to receive the following awards:
Gold- presented for an entry judged to be the best of its class.
Silver- presented for an exceptional entry.
Bronze- presented for an outstanding entry.
Honorable Mention- presented, at the judges’ discretion, for an entry that deserves recognition.
Awards are not necessarily given in each category.
Award winners will receive a certificate suitable for framing. The names of the winners will also be published in an official Awards Listing and distributed at the 2018 CASE Conference.
The names of the office and institution responsible for the winning entry appear on the awards certificates.
Please email Accolades Chair Annie Carter at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are in need of a reprint. Please include your institution name, category, award, if you need any text changes, and how many copies you are requesting. Please submit all needs by June 15, 2019. Certificate reprints will be mailed by July 1, 2019.
The fee per entry is $40. Multiple entries are encouraged. A project may be entered in more than one category, but an entry fee is needed for each category. Members must pay for their award entries by credit card only.
Please make sure entries are mailed to the correct judging coordinator. Entries submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. All other categories are online submission only.
Winning entries will be displayed at the annual CASE IV district conference.
Any entries not retrieved by the end of the conference will be discarded. Non-winning entries are not returned unless prior arrangements have been made.
Winners will be announced during the awards ceremony at the annual conference.
CASE District IV will also participate in the CASE Platinum categories. These seven categories focus on best practices in the advancement field. Participants will enter at the district level and up to two winners in each category will advance to compete against winners from the other CASE districts.
