Volunteer to be CASE speaker

Volunteers are at the heart of everything CASE does. They drive CASE's direction, develop and share knowledge about the profession and deliver services to their peers.

CASE conferences are designed and developed by volunteers who are CASE members, education leaders, and other experts willing to share knowledge and expertise, and would not happen without their support.

If you are interested in speaking at this conference, please use the form and we will be in touch soon.

What we are looking for

Our co-chairs have identified some of the pain points that will be at the heart of this year's Regular Giving and Legacies conference, as well as a list of specific topics for session submissions or expressions of interest.

  • Restricted budgets, cuts and redundancies across the sector
  • Difficulties in advocating for and championing your team, work and programmes, particularly when communicating to managers and institutional leaders
  • Access to and working with good clean data
  • Legacy administration can be complex, extensive and time consuming, especially for small teams
  • Lag of tangible income in Legacies and how to accurately forecast it
  • Solo or small teams juggling multiple roles
  • Lack of access to good benchmarking, self-benchmarking tools and methodology
  • What to prioritise within your team and projects
  • Legacy acquisition appeals
  • Legacy fundamentals (the basics of legacy fundraising)
  • Advocating for your programme and managing upwards
  • Donor/legacy pledger stewardship fundamentals
  • Appeal fundamentals (e.g. direct mail / telethon)
  • Leadership giving programmes
  • Small shops - Oxbridge colleges and independent schools
  • Navigating an institutional campaign
  • Setting a strategy for your programme or activity
  • An appeal you’re proud of / is innovative
  • Something that went wrong but you learnt an important lesson
  • An innovative appeal or channel or use of AI
