Gloria Ko
Gloria Ko serves as the senior director for Alumni Career Engagement leading career initiatives for alumni and students. She and her team aim to engage all alumni in meaningful ways to further the UCLA network in the workplace. She currently oversees programs, such as the Alumni Mentor Program, UCLA ONE and other career and professional development programming for alumni and students. Her prior experience at UCLA Alumni Affairs includes leading Young Alumni Engagement and advising the Student Alumni Association.
Gloria previously on the board of directors for the CASE District VII Cabinet for six years. She is also an active member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, and has served on faculties for the Young Alumni and Student Engagement Institute. Gloria graduated from UCLA in 2006 with a bachelors in communication studies and in 2007 with a M.Ed. in counseling in student affairs.

Raeanna Mowl
Raeanna, a native Tennessean, has been with Vanderbilt University for 11 years. Her previous experience includes over 10 years in the entertainment industry where she worked in music publishing and business management. She serves as the Associate Director for Student Alumni Engagement where she oversees the Life After Vanderbilt Series, the Student Alumni Board, young alumni programing as well as traditions, like our class ring program and Squirrel Day.
She is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Mass Communications and an MBA from Lipscomb University. In her free time, she enjoys HIIT training, she is a certified ACE Group Fitness instructor, as well as cooking and traveling. She’s been to 48 states and can’t wait to get to the final 2! She also enjoys being “ Rae Rae” to her niece and nephew, and fur nephew Murray too!

Terrance D. Smith
Terrance serves as the Senior Director of Student and Young Alumni Engagement at the University of Georgia (UGA). He is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive student to young alumni transition strategy that prepares the approximately 31,000 undergraduate students at UGA to join its diverse community of more than 100,000 engaged young alumni, an important subset of the more than 355,000 UGA alumni worldwide. In addition to overseeing various UGA Alumni Relations programming initiatives, Terrance also oversees UGA’s efforts to expand the culture of student philanthropy, leading the senior class giving campaign to seven consecutive years of record setting growth, with more than 3,000 graduating students making a gift to the university in 2021, 2022, and 2023. Throughout his time in Alumni Relations, Terrance has served as a speaker at regional and national conferences on the topics of student to young alumni transition, student philanthropy, and volunteer management and training.
Prior to joining the Alumni Relations team, Terrance was a professional staff member of the residential life teams at UGA and Purdue University. Terrance’s time in university housing provided him the opportunity to manage large, complex residential communities serving various segments of the student population, including first-year students, student athletes, and international students just to name a few. In addition, Terrance’s residence life experience helped strengthen his skills in supervising, training, and coaching team members as he managed staff at various levels in the organization.
While Terrance has come to call UGA home, his family has strong roots to the Bulldogs of the SEC west, Mississippi State University (MSU). Terrance graduated from MSU with a bachelor’s degree in political science and Oklahoma State University where he received his master’s in Educational Leadership. He’s redefining what it means to be a Double Dawg, as he is a current doctoral candidate at UGA conducting dissertation research on understanding college students’ motivations for giving to their alma maters.
Colleen McGinn
Colleen has spent more than 20 years in Advancement at Fairfield University, specifically in Alumni Engagement/the recently combined office of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving (AEAG). She currently serves as Director of Young Alumni & Student Philanthropy, leading a team within AEAG that that works to educate and empower students and young alumni to connect, engage, and make an impact through their time, passion, and support. This also includes oversight of initiatives led by Fairfield’s award-winning Student Alumni Association (SAA) and their Senior Class Gift program.
As the former long-time advisor to Fairfield’s SAA, Colleen helped guide the organization to district and national recognition, including over a dozen CASE ASAP District and National Program Awards, multiple CASE ASAP District and National Outstanding Organization Awards, and most recently Bronze (2020) and Silver (2023) CASE Circle of Excellence honors. Passionate about student leadership and philanthropy education, Colleen has been recognized multiple times as a CASE ASAP District ! Outstanding Advisor, a 2011 CASE ASAP National Outstanding Advisor, and Fairfield University’s Advisor of the Year for three consecutive years. She has presented multiple times at CASE and Jesuit Advancement Administrators conferences on student advancement and student philanthropy and was a frequent presenter at CASE ASAP District and National conferences.
She brings a practical, student-first perspective (accented with a side of humor) to every conversation. During her time at Fairfield she has served/continues to serve on various student-focused campus committees and was an advisor to multiple student-led service trips to New Orleans and a First Year Experience facilitator. Colleen is a proud graduate of the University of Connecticut, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications.

April Speck- Ewer
April Speck-Ewer serves as Director of Advancement at St. Stephen’s Episcopal School in Austin, Texas, where she leads a comprehensive advancement program spanning major gifts, annual giving, alumni and parent engagement, and campaign strategy.
April is a key leader of Lasting Impact: The Campaign for St. Stephen’s, the school’s $85 million comprehensive campaign. Her work emphasizes aligning engagement and philanthropy, building sustainable volunteer structures, and integrating alumni and parent strategies into broader institutional goals.
Prior to St. Stephen’s, April served as Assistant Vice President for Advancement at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. CASE has been a tremendous professional resource for her, and she is honored for the opportunity to serve as CASE faculty.
