"The CASE Development for Deans and Academic Leaders exceeded my expectations in every way. The program's focus on practical leadership strategies and advancement techniques was particularly valuable. I especially appreciated the opportunity to network with fellow deans in an intimate setting, which I am sure will lead to several ongoing collaborations. This program equipped me with actionable strategies that I plan to implement at my institution, particularly in areas of strategic planning and resource development. For any dean looking to enhance their leadership toolkit and build meaningful connections with peers, this CASE session is an invaluable investment."
"As a new dean with little development experience, I found this program exceptionally helpful. I have many specific takeaways that I can implement right away. I also found it useful to attend with my development officer. It was helpful and useful to be able to discuss the topics with her in real-time and develop plans for what we will implement.”
“I attended with my new dean and will recommend this conference to all my colleagues and their deans. This conference is relevant for all deans and academic leaders, especially those new to the role and unfamiliar with development.”
“I didn't know what to expect, but this was the single most helpful conference I've been to. The speakers were amazing, the topics on point. I am planning to encourage participation for others as this was so extremely helpful. I only wish I had a development officer with me.”
“Excellent speakers, content was incredibly valuable, and the takeaway presentation materials are wonderful tools for other staff. Thank you very much for this experience.”
“As a new academic leader concentrating in building development, this conference was crucial in my training, growth, and motivation. CASE gave me the tools I needed to bring back to my institution to make a real, positive change.”
“This was the best conference I have attended! The information and the new skills my dean and I gained have given us a laser focus on our development goals. I am thrilled that we attended. Thank you, CASE! We are better because of this conference.”
“This was a helpful conference for myself and my new dean. It will spark further conversations and gives us the same language to use when talking about development. I made a lot of connections and learned quite a bit.”

"This was my first development training so I was unsure what to expect, but I was so captivated by EVERY presentation and panel and learned so much. I left the conference deeply inspired, so much more knowledgeable, and with a clear set of action items for my future development work."
"I feel so much more confident in this area following the conference. Awareness of specific elements, such as strategic planning, cultivation, and where this fits into my role as a Dean, feel more accessible and achievable."
