Asking for money shouldn’t be intimidating — fundraisers should feel confident that a ‘yes’ is highly likely. This session will focus on the key moments in philanthropic relationships, including how to conduct effective discovery meetings, to help participants approach asking with greater confidence and fewer nerves. Leading the session will be Graeme Byrne, the Founder of Lagotto Solutions. With over 20 years of experience as a big gift fundraiser, he has worked alongside universities worldwide, helping them engage with their most significant potential supporters. Lagotto Solutions has partnered with over 250 universities globally to help them widen and strengthen prospect pools.
