Top 25 Moments of 2025
From the Nominator
Bowling Green State University created “25 Moments of 2025” to celebrate its most meaningful events of the year. Unlike previous year-in-review videos, this campaign aimed to give the audience a voice in shaping the story. The Marketing and Brand Strategy team identified 25 notable moments from the year that reflected student achievements, university milestones, and community impact. Through email and social media posts, we directed the BGSU community to a custom-built landing page to vote for their favorite moments of the year. The resulting video celebrates all 25 moments and highlights the top three selected by the audience. By putting the community at the center of the storytelling process, the campaign achieved higher engagement than any previous year-in-review videos. The audience-driven approach not only increased views, likes, and shares across multiple platforms but also strengthened emotional connection to the university and its accomplishments.

This year-end recap has energy and momentum, as it builds to reveal the top moments of the year. Students, alumni, and the broader campus community voted on the moments to include. Judges valued the community involvement, terrific pacing, and the quality of the video by an internal team.
