Texas Law Magazine, from the University of Texas at Austin, offers compelling stories told through its visually engaging design. The magazine reflects the stature of alumni and faculty in shaping the world in which we live. As a trusted source, we aim to engage our 27,000 alumni with clarity and knowledge on topics that can all too easily become divisive. For 2025, we leaned into stories where we could bring that trusted voice to current events--academic freedom, firearm accountability, blockchain technology, and the future of global energy--while demonstrating our global, national, and state leadership.

Judges highlighted the thoughtful layouts, beautiful photography and illustrations, and the publication’s ability to balance rich visual variety without feeling overwhelming. The writing was described as consistently compelling across both short and long pieces, creating an immersive reading experience that felt polished, dynamic, and distinctive.
