Stanford GSB Centennial
From the Nominator
The Stanford Graduate School of Business Centennial was a year-long initiative designed to strengthen brand cohesion, reinforce institutional identity, and position the school for its second century. The primary audiences were alumni, faculty, staff, and students, while secondary audiences included prospective students, thought leaders, and the broader public. Strategically, the Centennial reframed a milestone anniversary into a brand platform--one that honored legacy while articulating what differentiates Stanford GSB. Grounded in extensive research, the initiative established a unifying brand narrative that integrated seamlessly with GSB brand standards. We deployed a cohesive visual and verbal system across campus, at global events, on digital platforms, and through content and merchandise. The results demonstrate both reach and depth. Thousands participated in on-campus and global events. Most importantly, the initiative strengthened internal brand alignment and produced durable brand assets.
