The Individuals Who Fuel Johns Hopkins
From the Nominator
We created a portrait series to bring the Johns Hopkins Employee Value Proposition (EVP) campaign to life. The campaign celebrates the staff and shows why Hopkins is a great place to work. The portraits give Hopkins a fresh, human way to tell its story, supporting hiring efforts and creating a flexible template to keep the campaign growing. We focused first on current staff across the university, with an eye toward job seekers, the Baltimore community, and city leaders. Our goal was to help staff feel seen and valued, build pride across the organization, and support Hopkins' commitment to hiring locally. We captured portraits of staff from all walks of life in their real-world environments. Each image was designed to show not just what people do but also how they feel about being part of Hopkins. The look and feel stayed true to the university's brand but with a bright, lively touch that lets each person's story shine through. Working with an external photographer, we focused on capturing real emotion and personality. Through thoughtful direction and genuine conversation, we helped subjects feel comfortable on camera, resulting in portraits that reveal who they truly are. The photos were built to work everywhere: recruitment materials, digital signs, the intranet, employee shuttles, events, and more.
