There’s only one place in the United States where over 2,000 uniformed cadets attend classes with 57,000 civilian undergrads every day: Texas A&M University. Texas A&M began as an all-male, all-military school in 1876; its corps of cadets was made non-compulsory in the 1960s. Most Aggies take pride in this now-minority ROTC but know little about its particulars. With help from Texas A&M's Association of Former Students, we built this package to inform prospective, current, and even former students on what the elements of a Corps uniform mean. To offset costs for the external design firm who built this page, we acquired a sponsor and included a fundraising appeal.
