Westminster Launches New School Website
From the Nominator
Westminster, a K-12 school in Atlanta, launched a new school website that tells an inspiring story about a community of bright, motivated, curious students. Audiences for this website include prospective students and families, alumni, and the Atlanta community at large, with an average of 22,000 active users every month. The school’s goal was to highlight the breadth and depth of experiences available to students at the school, bolstering the school’s reputation as a leader in the city and the region. In addition, given more than half of the visits to the previous site were from mobile devices, another important goal was to ensure the new site prioritized the mobile experience. The school delivered a site that reflects the school’s identity and the student experience in summer 2024 after a series of staff changes, school leadership changes, and rounds of enhancements to the site’s visuals and language. This site represents a new chapter for a school brand that has developed over nearly a decade. It tells the story of students who love challenge and go on to lead change, and the story of a school that helps them do just that.

Westminster School launched a visually striking and thoughtfully crafted website, a project that began in 2019 and was brought to life by a dedicated small team. The result is a compelling digital experience that artfully tells the story of their campus and the rich opportunities available to prospective students. Especially notable is the use of a refined color palette, dynamic patterns and movement, and architectural flourishes inspired by the campus itself. These elements not only reflect Westminster’s distinctive character but also distinguish the site from others in the field. The website is engaging, intuitive to navigate, and effectively communicates the school’s mission in a way that inspires site visitors to want to be part of the community.
