Wake Forest Magazine: The How To Issue Special Edition
From the Nominator
The How To Issue of Wake Forest Magazine presents alumni with an eclectic and sometimes poignant compendium of wide-ranging ideas from former classmates and professors including, as one reader said, the "inspiring, fun, beautiful, heart-wrenching, informative, playful—you've got it all." The compelling mix of photos and Rube Goldberg-esque illustrations makes this issue a page-turner. In nearly 50 vignettes, Wake Foresters describe quirky expertise—how to make the perfect hot dog, compliments of a national hot dog ambassador—and serious issues confronting so many in our audience, from how to talk to your college-age daughter to how use artificial intelligence in the classroom. A pianist shares how to get to Carnegie Hall. More alumni tells stories about how to sail around the world, keep a pen pal for decades—and so much more. The How To Issue met our constant goal: Engaging alumni with what they love about Wake Forest University and deepening their ongoing relationship with their alma mater.
