Merced College aimed to create an invitation as innovative as the groundbreaking Dreamscape Learn experience itself. Our audience included key stakeholders, donors, community leaders, and education partners—individuals critical to supporting and expanding immersive learning at Merced College. To capture attention and generate excitement, we designed a nostalgic yet forward-thinking invitation: a custom ViewMaster featuring immersive images of Dreamscape Learn. This unique approach mirrored the program’s interactive nature, allowing recipients to preview the experience in a tangible, engaging way. The goal was to spark curiosity, encourage attendance, and reinforce Merced College’s commitment to cutting-edge education. By leveraging the sentimental appeal of a ViewMaster, while showcasing futuristic technology, we bridged past and future, making the invitation itself a conversation piece. The response exceeded expectations—attendance at the grand opening was high, with enthusiastic engagement from invitees. The ViewMaster invitations generated buzz on social media and within the community, positioning Merced College as a leader in immersive learning. This innovative invitation not only set the tone for Dreamscape Learn’s debut but also demonstrated our strategic, creative approach to outreach and engagement.
