Ahead of the 2024 Olympics, our alumni magazine sought to spotlight current students competing in the Olympic trials for their countries while also pursuing their studies at the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. One such student is a nationally ranked swimmer and an exceptional business scholar. We wanted to capture the unique blend of athleticism and academic achievement in a way that would immediately grab the viewer’s attention. To do so, we had her pose in the water in business attire, with the photographer submerged in the pool as well. By lighting the scene from above, we ensured she stood out against the water’s surface. The striking result not only drew significant attention but also earned a prominent feature in the magazine.
