From the Nominator
With a global network of over 685,000 alumni, the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan created a social-first content series to engage both alumni and current students. Our goal was to highlight successful alumni in a fun, relatable way while increasing awareness of the Alumni Association. To ensure broad participation, we designed a flexible, easy-to-produce format featuring short, snappy, quick-fire interview questions—ideal for notable alumni with limited availability and for audiences with short attention spans. The series captures nostalgic moments from their student days, fostering connection among alumni. Many featured alumni have cross-posted their videos, amplifying reach and engagement across platforms. The result: a widely shared, highly engaging series that strengthens alumni affinity and broadens our digital presence.
