Kellogg Magazine
From the Nominator
Kellogg Magazine is the alumni magazine serving the graduates of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Through compelling profiles, in-depth features, and research coverage, we illuminate the impact of Kellogg graduates, students, and faculty who are shaping the future of business and society. Our mission is to foster a lifelong connection between Kellogg and its global alumni network, from the classroom to the boardroom, and beyond. We highlight inspiring stories of resilience, ambition, and leadership, ensuring that every issue reflects the spirit of collaboration, curiosity, and impact that defines our community. These past two years have been transformational for Kellogg Magazine. Our multi-phase plan to improve our publication started in 2022, when we successfully advocated to bring the magazine back into print, starting with our Fall/Winter 2022 issue. (It had been produced online-only from 2020 to 2022 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.) Building on our renewed momentum coming back to print, we then sought to improve our storytelling within our existing template, commissioning an editorial critique from a talented publication firm to guide our new approach. In January 2024, we kicked off a comprehensive print redesign process while also producing our Spring/Summer 2024 issue, “The Creativity Issue.” The Fall/Winter 2024 issue, “Full Circle,” debuted our new, redesigned publication while also introducing a critical new fundraising campaign to our alumni. The redesign has received high praise from our school community. Together, these improvements have built a stronger foundation for us to serve our audience going forward.
