The updated site provides an intuitive, user-friendly experience, connecting users with vital branding resources like messaging guidelines, visual elements, and digital best practices. A new "Brand Messages" section emphasizes the shared Gettysburg experience, ensuring consistency and authenticity in all communications. Key performance improvements highlight the redesign’s success: Website views increased by 186%, user visits grew by 98%, and average engagement time more than doubled, reflecting the effectiveness of the updated layout and content structure. This redesigned platform empowers the college community to tell compelling Gettysburg stories, strengthening institutional identity and reinforcing the impact of A Consequential Education. The redesign is more than a practical tool—it’s a reflection of Gettysburg College’s story, fostering consistency, connection, and pride.

This entry is a clean, content-rich brand site that clearly improves on its predecessor. While not radically different from other higher education brand sites, it’s well-organized, accessible, and easy to use—so much so that one of us used it as a reference. The team’s use of focus groups to address user pain points was smart, and the strong engagement metrics show it worked. A simple but effective solution that meets real internal needs with clarity and purpose.
