As Boston University’s School of Public Health (SPH) prepares to enter its 50th year, this annual report–style publication serves as a key component in a four-year anniversary campaign: Our People (2023), Our Places (2024), Our Moments (2025), and the 50th Anniversary (2026). Each is designed to feel like a collector’s item. The focus for the 2024 issue centers on places--both literal and figurative--that have contributed to fulfilling SPH’s mission. The concept centers around the idea that, while SPH shares a mission wherever it goes, the way that is lived out across the world--and shown in each of our stories--can look wonderfully different. The 2024 piece celebrates SPH's diversity, and this is expressed through each story having its own visual style.

Everything about this is beautiful, and the 800 hours invested shows. The design execution lives up to the budget and production. The bold typography communicates a level of confidence, and the colorful images manage to create harmony without distracting from the text.
