From the Nominator
This poster was used in advertising for the Brigham Young University Kennedy Center Engaging in Authoritarianism and Its Discontents lecture series. The fall lecture series examined the meaning of authoritarianism in our society, and how it affects our collective cultures. It engaged students, faculty, and friends in meaningful discussion and awareness on key issues. Goals were met through the creation of a simple, graphic poster while staying on budget.
From the Judges
Reminds us of old style Soviet-era posters so we felt that it was a really great use of a visual considering the topic.
