Our goal was to reach our alumni audience with a creative story that covered the upcoming 2024 Olympics. Andrea Joyce, a proud University of Michigan alumna, was excited to share that she was being inducted into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame in December 2023 and thought we might like to include that accomplishment in the magazine—fortunately, when we said we wanted to cover it in the form of a feature story, Joyce was able to fit in an interview before she began to prepare for what might be her final Olympics. She also generously shared all the photos included in this story from throughout her career, from posing with tennis legend Billie Jean King to her first job as a "weather girl" in Colorado. According to our reader survey, this was the second favorite article we published in 2024. This article was also shared on the University of Michigan's Facebook page.

They did this by celebrating the hall of fame sports broadcasting career of alumna Andrea Joyce through both pictures and stories. The article brought us on an entertaining journey from Andrea’s first job as a “weather girl” all the way to the Olympic games in Paris.
