From the Nominator

Líderes del Mañana is an unprecedented talent acquisition initiative that ignites social impact and human flourishing. At Tecnológico de Monterrey, there are 1,940 young people from Mexico and Latin America who stand out for their academic merit, leadership, and social commitment. Without the generosity of more than 280 major donors, these students wouldn’t have access to the exceptional education provided by Tec de Monterrey. Through a stewardship strategy that integrates efforts of gratitude, recognition, and transparency, we seek to strengthen our relationships with our donors so that they understand the profound impact and legacy of their contributions in Mexico. When a donor establishes a scholarship fund to Líderes del Mañana, they receive a series of personalized stewardship activities as part of our program: a thank-you video from the student benefiting from the scholarship fund; an academic report of the student; use-of-donation report;    recognition plaque on donor wall; and a thank-you video upon the student's graduation. This effort has allowed us to bring donors and students closer. Donors get to know the students' stories, experiences, and challenges. Above all, donors get to see students' gratitude--for their opportunities and for the donors that made it all possible. This is just a small act of appreciation from our institution to those who, like us, are convinced that through education, anything can be achieved. It is very rewarding to witness the heartfelt response from our donors when they realize their impact on the lives of thousands of young people.
