To celebrate the demisemiseptcentennial (175 years) of the University of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association (WFAA) designed, planned, and delivered a gala to honor the momentous occasion and thank the Badger community for their help making UW–Madison one of the brightest public universities in the world. One of the goals for this event was to evoke pride in UW–Madison and to “wow” our alumni, donors, faculty/staff, and friends from the start as soon as they received the invitation in their mailbox.
