Michigan Medicine works with community groups who want to hold events to raise funds for us (known as third-party fundraisers). It became evident that these events often lacked the ability to convey the impact of the work done at Michigan Medicine. We determined that a one-size-fits-all video would help small events connect more effectively to the values of Michigan Medicine. The intended use for this video was to kick off events, creating momentum and relevance. The video has been extremely well received as an integral part of any toolbox for third-party events. But its utility has gone beyond its original use, as it has become a widely requested piece used for different events and applications across campus.
