The Brighton Effect campaign celebrates University of Brighton alumni, as they share how their time at Brighton shaped their careers, impacted their lives, and had a unique effect on their personal and professional successes. What is the Brighton Effect? We see it as a ripple of energy that grows with students during their time at the University of Brighton and throughout their lives. Uniquely individual, that energy is carried with our alumni through time, careers, passions, curiosities, travel, discoveries, teachings, and learnings. No two experiences are the same or are "right" or "wrong." The Brighton Effect doesn’t define our graduates--it empowers them to define their own success.   The stories we received through this campaign are recognizing and celebrating graduates’ successes in their own words, and we are spreading their messages to our students, colleagues, and wider university community. The advice, stories, and wisdom shared with us will become part of a collective voice aimed at inspiring and supporting our students as they write their very own Brighton Effect stories. As part of the campaign, we identified 33 alumni stories that stood out--those making waves, not just ripples. These Brighton Effect Advocates were awarded special titles--including Brighton Effect: Creative Thinker, Educator, and Global Citizen, among others--to represent our university’s values and graduates' attributes. Each will be provided with a digital toolkit to promote themselves on social media and be a part of this on-going story of growth, creativity, and impact. That’s the Brighton Effect.

This was well executed for a social media campaign. There was sizeable growth across platforms, and the project was very well done.
