One story across large three screens: That's how we artfully created our immersive video for this year's biggest donor-stewardship event. Each year, this gala takes place on a different part of campus, with a different theme, and several hundred major donors to University of California, Davis gather to celebrate and witness their impact. In fall 2023, our gala was at the university's newest museum space, the renovated Gorman Museum of Native American Art. To bring a video component to the evening, we created a three-paneled immersive movie theater; donors stood in the center of the space and were surrounded by our video message. With our hallmark energy and diversity, the story covered all colleges, schools, and units.

The triptych-style video seamlessly connected three screens, artfully weaving together a captivating and immersive movie story. Repurposed into a shorter holiday greeting, this distinctive video conveyed gratitude to all donors, celebrating their vital role in supporting UC Davis. A model of innovation and resourceful storytelling, it left a lasting impression.
