"We set out to create an anthemic 30-second video commercial that differentiates the Arizona State University experience (whether it be in-person or online) in a visual way that is both undeniable and precise for prospective students and their parents. To do this, we used real ASU professors at the top of their fields and the immersive virtual reality technology (Dreamscape Learn) used in actual ASU classes.
We wanted to help our target audience understand how both world-class faculty and groundbreaking technology impact the undergraduate experience in a way that could only happen at ASU. To bring this vision to life, we partnered with husband-and-wife filmmaking team Ladybug."
From the Judges
The judges were impressed with this nomination's blend of showcasing both campus highlights and student accomplishments, as well as the use of real professors to add credibility. The implementation of virtual reality technology was a nice touch that created an immersive experience for the viewer.
