We set out to create a piece for our prospective 11th-grade high school audience to show them what a day in the life of being a Tiger could look like. We know that students are much more likely to look at photos than to read text—and we are, after all, the "Show Me State"! So we showed them the campus and all the opportunities available to Mizzou students in a 32-page photo mailer. We collaborated with campus photographers to get early morning photographs of iconic spots around campus and organized the photos to start with sunrise and end with night photos. This mailer is part of our redesign efforts for our 11th-grade audience this year, and we mailed out 70,000 booklets. Students that came to our landing page had an average session rate of 2.5 which means they went deeper into the site to find more information and had an opportunity to tell us where they are in their college search.
