From the Nominator
"Our development and alumni relations department wanted to spread the word that everything and everyone at UD is impacted by philanthropy, while doing it in a new, quirky, and educational, but lighthearted way. The video was helpful in pushing out the culture of philanthropy message to our broader audience for our Delaware First fundraising campaign that is nearing its $1 billion goal.
We cast a current UD sophomore theatre student as our lead narrator and shot footage at more than 13 on-campus locations to showcase the impact of philanthropy. Working with various campus partners who were energized about showing their respective facilities in such a broad marketing piece, we coordinated a three-day shoot and wrapped production for a 2022 marketing campaign.
We kicked things off with an all-alumni, friend, and past parent email that drove people to our Philanthropy is Everywhere landing page to learn more about the areas of interests highlighted in the spot. The goals of the video were brand awareness of the Delaware First campaign and to engage our broad audiences to rethink the definition of philanthropy."

Our panel describes this video as fun! It proves that fundraising communications do not have to be staid and lofty. This video does a great job of conveying many key messages in a short, fun, and accessible way.
