When Florida State University (FSU) began planning for its tenth annual giving day, it contemplated how to keep the event fresh after 10 years. Utilizing the acting talents of FSU President John Thrasher, the FSU Foundation created a fun and engaging video to announce FSU’s Great Give’s biggest goal yet--$1 million! When asked what the dollar goal for this year’s FSU’s Great Give should be, President Thrasher asks for some time to think. After going through a series of routine events, like getting coffee and spending time with the first lady, it comes to President Thrasher out of nowhere--$1 million is the perfect goal.

We liked the clever use of humor to make this enjoyable video. Overall, the video had nice delivery and we loved how it spotlighted various sports around the university to show where the support goes. A good example of how you can make an effective video with little to no budget.
