As Boston University School of Public Health reached an inflection point after five years of building its reputation as a leader in public health, 2020 presented a creative opportunity to re-envision its annual publication, SPH This Year. Seizing this challenge, the SPH This Year 2020 creative team immediately began concepting new formats and bindery techniques. We sharpened the original, focused thought, “The School of Public Health continues to be dynamically engaged in the future of public health,” to address the COVID-19 pandemic, showcasing the BUSPH community as fully equipped to lead SPH forward in public health while also actively responding to the crisis. The result is an ambitious BUSPH publication unprecedented in scope and complexity.

Very unique publication. Incorporated an overlay in the print issue, and wraps around the magazine. Varying weights in typography are impressive. Overall layout is dynamic and appealing to look at.
