On October 5, 2019, Butler University launched Butler Beyond, our strategic direction for the future as well as our next comprehensive campaign that would fund this direction. This launch event brought together alumni, current and former faculty and staff, students, local dignitaries, and descendants of our founder, Ovid Butler. To mark the event, the campus was transformed in celebration of this new campaign—one that will focus on student access and success, innovations in teaching and learning, and community partnerships.

The judges were very impressed with the bold, clean design of this series. They noted the exceptional typographic handling of the messaging as a strong feature. The limited color palette was elegant and beautifully used. The photographic styles mixed and matched with the graphic pattern in an eye-catching way. The judges know how demanding it is to produce these graphics across the range of structures and applaud the designers for so clearly and carefully handling these design challenges. Getting the typography just right on the business building windows was well done. The judges also appreciated the clear messaging that unified these different pieces.
