    From the Nominator

This is a research magazine focused on discoveries emerging from Rockefeller University laboratories and on issues and ideas in the biosciences. With Seek, our flagship publication, we reflect not only the mission and culture of the university, but also bring to life the individuals, ideas, and conversations that ignite discovery. Although the conventional role of a university’s research magazine is to promote its research program, Seek aims also to contribute to larger conversations—about the power of biomedicine, the ethical implications of discovery, and the role of science in society, for instance—in a meaningful way. Our stories are driven by strong narratives, and we anchor our content with evocative headlines and meaningful visuals.

    From the Judges

Judges love the illustrations, photography, and writing in this magazine. It gave the sense of sharing serious science while still being approachable and engaging. Great designs and layout throughout. We wanted to read every article.
