InCASE: Introducing CASE Insights—a New Way to Harness the Power of Data
We are excited to introduce CASE Insights—a new name and a new way to more easily access the free data, standards, and research benefits available to all CASE members. Through CASE Insights’s data, standards, and research, members will be better able to make data-driven decisions, demonstrate strategic impact, highlight success stories, and define ethical practices of the advancement profession.

“CASE has long provided valuable data and insights in service of advancement professionals around the world. CASE members’ participation in the growing suite of region- and discipline-specific CASE surveys has enabled CASE to provide valuable professional benchmarks and analytics to drive strategic advancement decisions for institutions. This new name, CASE Insights, reflects CASE’s commitment to shining an ever brighter light on the centrality of good data for all of our work,” says CASE President and CEO Sue Cunningham.
Specialized CASE Insights’ resources continue to offer the valuable information previously provided under the AMAtlas name, including educational advancement-related metrics, benchmarks, and analytics that provide a range of other data and resources for schools, universities, and colleges.
Data and research are key focus areas in CASE’s 2022-2027 strategic plan, Championing Advancement. The plan aims to “expand the reach and impact of our research and data services to deliver critical insights that enable advancement leaders to achieve success in reaching their goals.”
“We want all members to be fluent in data,” says Cara Giacomini, CASE’s Vice President of Data, Research, and Technology. “Many members have been deeply impacted by the pandemic. Using data to measure their engagement and philanthropy allows them to distribute their resources more effectively, examine what’s working and what’s not, and identify where they have opportunities to innovate.”
